As the weather begins to warm up and we move into the season of Lent (the word lent means spring), we are ready to announce our programs for the coming months.
For our March 12th meeting, we will provide our own Lenten worship experience. Several of you will be asked to participate by reading a brief monologue as we: MEET THE PEOPLE AT THE CROSS. We will sing some favorite Holy Week hymns. Our decorations will follow the colors of St. Patrick's Day. This will again be one of our excellent potluck dinners.
Our meeting on April 9th will have a wonderful theme for the day after Easter Sunday. Our presenter will be Crystal Rehn, from The Potting Shed. They will provide a delicious box lunch, for which we will ask a small fee, as yet to be determined.
Ruthe and I will be unable to present for our May meeting. We will be in Indonesia, so I am looking for volunteers to be hosts and perhaps to come up with an idea for the May program.
Also, mark the 9th of July on your calendar, as that will be the date of our CELEBRATION OF SUMMER. Hopefully, it will be in the Park again.
Remember, the Pioneer Club is your club. Let's celebrate it together !
