February Valentines Day

Pioneer Club meet today, monday Feb 12th, and there was music and some good talk, as we always do at this meet.

Attendance wasn't bad, considering the snowy roads.

Thanks to all those that braved the weather and came to have a great time !

Even had some new folks show up !!!! Hi folks!




of course ! the food was really good as always.



Don and Lorraine provided the entertainment.

November 2006 Meeting - Trools

Pioneer Club meet on Monday November 13th. Lots of good food and a great program too !!

Following our annual potluck dinner, the presentation was "Norwegian Trolls and Folk Tales, and What it Means to be Norwegian". This presentation highlighted on early history of Norwegian Troll tales. Our speaker was Della Moen, who with the help of a power point presentation, a few troll figures and a book display put on an excellent program.

Della and her husband, Chuck, are members of the Sons of Norway of Rockford. They speak extensively around the Midwest.

Zion Lutheran Church, Belvidere, Pioneer Club News

Welcome to the Pioneer Club of Zion Lutheran Church of Belvidere, IL.

To belong to this unique group of gray/silver hairs you have to be over the young age of 55 !!

We enjoy great food, fellowship and informative and/or entertaining programs.

We meet on the 2nd monday at noon of every month, up in the Fellowship Hall at the church.

We have special outings and special entertainment from time to time, as witnessed by all the postings on this site!

So.. come join us if you can. We always have extra chairs !
