Pioneer Club News

Enjoy the beautiful spring weather as Easter approaches and plan on coming to Pioneer Club. Iolyn Beers has a special Easter devotion planned for us before the meal.

Our meeting on April 9th will have a wonderful theme for the day. Our presenter will be Crystal Rehn from The Potting Shed. Her program will involve spring flower arranging as well as hints on growing healthy house and garden varieties. They will provide a delicious box lunch (cost is $8.00). We need you to sign up on the bulletin board in the narthex. You can pay at the office or the day of the meeting.

Ruthe and I will be unable to be present for our May meeting. The Pioneer Club will meet on May 14th and feature our excellent potluck dinner. There will be no formal program (at the time of this writing), so after lunch enjoy a time of fellowship and games. If you have a special game you wish to play, bring it along!

Also, keep July 9th open (reserve it for the Pioneer Club meeting) as it will be the date of our Summer Celebration in the park.

Sincerely,
Pastor John Harder

Upcoming April 9th Gathering

Our next gathering will be the day after Easter in the brightness of Spring !

The meeting on April 9th will have a wonderful theme for the day. Our presenter will be Crystal Rehn from The Potting Shed. They will provide a delicious box lunch, for which we will ask a small fee of $8.00 Be sure to see the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board in the Narthex for your choice of sandwich.

Ruthe and I will be unable to be present for our May meeting. We will be in Indonesia, so I am looking for volunteers to be hosts and perhaps to come up with an idea for the May program.

Also, keep the 9th of July on your calender reserved for us, as that will be the date of our CELEBRATION OF SUMMER. Hopefully, it will be in the Park again.

Remember, the Pioneer Club is your club. Let's celebrate it together!

Pioneer Club News

As the weather begins to warm up and we move into the season of Lent (the word lent means spring), we are ready to announce our programs for the coming months.

For our March 12th meeting, we will provide our own Lenten worship experience. Several of you will be asked to participate by reading a brief monologue as we: MEET THE PEOPLE AT THE CROSS. We will sing some favorite Holy Week hymns. Our decorations will follow the colors of St. Patrick's Day. This will again be one of our excellent potluck dinners.

Our meeting on April 9th will have a wonderful theme for the day after Easter Sunday. Our presenter will be Crystal Rehn, from The Potting Shed. They will provide a delicious box lunch, for which we will ask a small fee, as yet to be determined.

Ruthe and I will be unable to present for our May meeting. We will be in Indonesia, so I am looking for volunteers to be hosts and perhaps to come up with an idea for the May program.

Also, mark the 9th of July on your calendar, as that will be the date of our CELEBRATION OF SUMMER. Hopefully, it will be in the Park again.
