Sept 8th Monthly Program

On Monday, September 8th, the Pioneer Club will resume monthly programs and noon carry-in luncheons
We will once again have Pastor Amy Nyman share an interesting portrayal. This time she will be Suzanne Wesley, the mother of Charles and John Wesley. If that name sounds familiar to you, it may be from singing one of their many songs in our Lutheran hymnals.

Guests are always welcome. Perhaps you could invite one of your Methodist friends to hear about a person who left a big impression on that tradition.

Please bring your table setting and a salad, meat dish, jello, dessert or other item. Beverage is provided.

Upcoming March Gathering

On Monday, March 10th, the Pioneer Club will welcome A Classic Chorale following the Noon carry-in luncheon. This group of 35—40 people from 30 Rockford churches will arrive about 12:30 to get set up. They will share some spirituals, gospel music, oldies, etc.

Please bring your table setting and a dish to pass; beverage will be provided. Guests are welcome! Hint….maybe someone will bring some St. Patrick’s Day decorations for the tables. Consider wearing something green

Have you signed up to attend A Mighty Fortress Is Our Basement at the Belvidere community Building on April 8th? See flier on the bulletin board for further details.

January 13th Meeting

Start the New Year by "resolving" to enjoy the monthly noon potlucks at Zion's Pioneer Club.

Plan to hear Dr. Andrea Giamalva, Larraine Carmichael's granddaugher, describe "Why I Am a Doctor". She just started at the Belvidere Swedish American in Family Practice.  She graduated with honors from the University of Illinois Medical School in Rockford.

Come join us at Noon.  Bring a dish to pass and bring your table settings.   Beverage is provided.

Guests are always welcomed.   Happy New Year.
