Christmas Dinner Dec 10th

The Pioneer Club will meet for their annual Christmas Dinner on Monday,
December 10 at 12:00 noon in the fellowship hall.

The catered meal includes turkey, mashed potatoes & gravy, vegetable, lettuce salad, dinner
rolls and dessert. Cost is $7.00 per person. Christmas punch will be served
before the dinner begins. Thank you, Marion!

To make our tables festive and beautiful, please bring your favorite
Christmas ornament and place on the table where you are seated.

The program will include special music from the youth of Immanuel
Lutheran School, directed by Dan Albrecht.

The sign up sheet for the Christmas dinner is on the bulletin board in the narthex and all reservations must be placed by December 3.

For November 14th Meeting

The Pioneer Club will meet for their monthly potluck on Monday, November 12th at 12:00 noon in the fellowship hall. Just bring a dish to share and your own tableware. (Program to be announced.)

We still need to decide who we would like to cater our Christmas dinner.
Suggestions were voiced but not voted on at the last gathering.

The December Christmas program will include singing from the youth of Immanuel Lutheran School, directed by Dan Albrecht.

PCN news for October

Mark your calendars for Monday, October 8th at 12:00 noon for our monthly potluck in the fellowship hall. Just bring a dish to share and your own tableware. Elmae West and Iolyn Beers will be decorating the tables for a beautiful fall day.

Our guest speaker will be Kris Bryan, owner of Wooden It Be Nice who will share his furniture maintenance program—things you can do to preserve your furniture without the refinishing.

Invite a friend to this special program.

And remember, if you remember living thru the 70s, then you are old enough to be part of this Great Group !!!

September meeting results - 1st of the new season

Theme this month was "back to school". We had a nice crowd and of course, lots of great food !! Program was on Home Safety.




Even got a visit from the Pastor. Always nice to have him here.

August meeting


NOPE !!!
No August meeting of the Pioneer Club this month, we are cleaning the place up for next month. We meet September 10th, to start the fall/winter/spring season off to a good start.
"Back to School" will be the theme for September. We will have are usual fun and food along with a speaker on Home Safety.
See you on September 10th at noon.
And as Pastor Harder used to say.... "If you are 55 or older than you belong ! ! "

July Meeting results

The Pioneer Clubs July activities were held yesterday, monday.
The theme for July, (aside from red/white/blue) was the saying of farwell to Pastor Harder and his wife Ruthe.

There was a singing parody/ comedy slide presentation about the two of them. I think everyone had a good time with that one.




Of course, there was more than enough great food for all to enjoy. How many times did u go up ? Lots of desserts too !!

July 9th Potluck Lunch Noon - Honor Pastor Harder

Pioneer Club to honor Pastor John and Ruthe Harder

Monday, July 9th for a potluck lunch. This will be held at the Fellowship Hall NOT at the Belvidere Park as previously planned.

Just bring a dish to share and your own tableware. (like we normally do).
