Pioneer Club News
The Pioneer Club will meet on Monday, April 14th at 12:00 noon for their monthly potluck and program in the fellowship hall. Just bring a dish to pass and your own tableware. Our program will be a Canine demonstration from the County Sheriff’s department. Invite a friend to share the fellowship, great food, and information.

February meeting results
At our last meeting on February 11th, we enjoyed a bountiful meal and also had the pleasure of listening to Lorraine Carmichael on piano and Don Sturner on saxophone. What a great way to start the week, especially remembering our favorite songs!
On Monday, March 10th, the Pioneer Club will meet for our monthly potluck at 12:00 noon. Please bring a dish to pass and your own tableware. For our program, Doris Hoffman from LifeScape will speak on Tornado Preparedness. Not many expected a tornado during the winter like the one in Poplar Grove. Now we will soon be entering the spring time and need to be even more aware of all the safety tips.

Dont Miss February Meeting

Christmas Dinner Dec 10th
The Pioneer Club will meet for their annual Christmas Dinner on Monday,
December 10 at 12:00 noon in the fellowship hall.
The catered meal includes turkey, mashed potatoes & gravy, vegetable, lettuce salad, dinner
rolls and dessert. Cost is $7.00 per person. Christmas punch will be served
before the dinner begins. Thank you, Marion!
To make our tables festive and beautiful, please bring your favorite
Christmas ornament and place on the table where you are seated.
The program will include special music from the youth of Immanuel
Lutheran School, directed by Dan Albrecht.
The sign up sheet for the Christmas dinner is on the bulletin board in the narthex and all reservations must be placed by December 3.

We still need to decide who we would like to cater our Christmas dinner.
Suggestions were voiced but not voted on at the last gathering.
The December Christmas program will include singing from the youth of Immanuel Lutheran School, directed by Dan Albrecht.
